Although landscaping trends do not change significantly from year to year it is important to note key aspects that are evolving. As we move through 2019 people are looking for an exceptional outdoor living space, where they can relax but also has space to host guests when needed.

1.) Lighting

In 2019 as we become more environmentally conscious and people are becoming more concerned about their energy bill we are seeing more solar powered lights and less corded plug in lights. As they are using solar lighting there seems to be more, and landscapes are beautifully lit during the night time.

2.) Minimal

Nowadays people don’t have time to constantly be maintaining their lawn and gardens. People are shying away from high maintenance trees, shrubbery and gardens. Simplicity is best.

3.) A Getaway

People want to feel like they're escaping the real world. By adding an amazing outdoor patio, a gorgeous fire pit, a built in bar, or a water feature they are getting just that.
